Friedrich Schulthess
Friedrich Schulthess (born September 16, 1804 in Zurich ; † August 29, 1869 there ) was a Swiss publisher .
biography
Schulthess was the owner of the Schulthess'schen Buchhandlung and Druckerei in Zurich, published Huldrych Zwingli's writings and co-founded the Swiss Booksellers Association . During the Zurich coup in 1839 he was in command of the Zurich Citizens Guard with the rank of lieutenant colonel .
