Friedrich Unteutsch

Friedrich Unteutsch (* 3. September 1891 ; † 17th February 1947 in . Special Camp No. 1 mill mountain ) was a German jurist and district administrator of the district Eisenach .

Life

After studying law Unteutsch was in 1922 at the Law Faculty of the University of Jena for doctor of law doctorate . Two years later he was already Regierungsrat in the Thuringian Ministry of the Interior. From 1931 to 1937 he was senior government councilor in the Thuringian Ministry of the Interior in Weimar . His area of ​​responsibility extended to community and district affairs.

In 1937 Unteutsch was appointed provisional and the following year the final district administrator of the Eisenach district. After Eisenach was taken by the American troops on April 6, 1945, the American military government initially confirmed Unteutsch as district administrator, but replaced him on May 10, 1945 with a certain Fröhlich.

After Thuringia was handed over to the Red Army on July 1, 1945, Unteutsch was arrested and initially taken to special camp No. 8 in Torgau and later to special camp No. 1 in Mühlberg. The prisoners there lived under the harshest conditions and were isolated from the outside world. Unteutsch's family was not informed of his death. He was pronounced dead on December 31, 1952 .
