Friedrich Wagner (judge)
Friedrich Philipp Gustav Rudolph August Wagner (born November 9, 1895 in Schwerin , † after 1945) was a German judge .
Life
Wagner was the son of the Schwerin high school professor Richard Wagner and an Evangelical Lutheran. He attended the Gymnasium Friedericianum in Schwerin . Wagner last took part in World War I in the rank of lieutenant of the reserve. According to his own statements, he was a "World War II pilot". He studied law in Heidelberg, Rostock and Göttingen. He passed the first state law examination in 1920 with “distinction” and the second in 1923 with “good”. He received a doctorate in political science . In December 1923 he was appointed court assessor. Until 1925 he worked alternately at the land registry for knightly goods and at the public prosecutor's office in Schwerin. In mid-October 1925, Wagner became an assistant judge at the civil chamber at the Schwerin Regional Court . In mid-December he returned to the Schwerin public prosecutor's office as a public prosecutor. In 1927 he was promoted to the District Court Council under designation and further use as a public prosecutor. From 1929 to 1931 he was a member of the examination board for clerks at the office. In February 1932 he joined the Reich Attorney General as an unskilled worker . In 1936 he was promoted to the regional court director in Rostock, leaving him with the Reich Attorney General. On November 1, 1936, he was transferred to the Reich Attorney General as a senior public prosecutor. On August 1, 1938, and 1½ months later, he became an assistant judge at the Reich Court of Justice . He was appointed Reich judge on April 1, 1938. There he was active in the fourth criminal senate. In 1939 he was drafted into the Air Force with the rank of captain of the reserve and in 1942 he was promoted to major. According to Kaul , he was assigned to the IV Criminal Senate in the cast lists until 1942. In 1945 he was without a Senate.
