Friedrich Wilhelm, Prince of Great Britain (born May 24, 1750 in London , † December 29, 1765 there ) was a member of the British royal family .
Life
Friedrich Wilhelm was born as the youngest son of the Prince of Wales Friedrich Ludwig von Hannover in the London family residence Leicester House in Westminster . He was thus the youngest brother of the future King George III. From birth, the prince suffered from poor health and an unstable physical constitution, which severely restricted him in his activities. He therefore mainly devoted himself to books and the acquisition of knowledge; According to contemporary assessments, Friedrich Wilhelm was very promising intellectually. He died at Leicester House at the age of 15 and was buried in Westminster Abbey on January 4, 1766 .
