Friedrich Wilhelm III. (Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck)
Friedrich Wilhelm III. von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck (* November 4, 1723 ; † May 6, 1757 in the Battle of Prague ) was Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck and Prussian Colonel, as well as governor of Brandenburg an der Havel and carrier of the Order of the Red Eagle .
Life
He was the son of Friedrich Wilhelm II of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck and his wife Countess Ursula Anna von Dohna-Schlobitten (* December 31, 1700; † March 17, 1761). After the death of his father, he inherited the title Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck.
He was a colonel in the Prussian army and commander of the Fusilier Regiment No. 46 (Alt-Württemberg). He was killed in the Battle of Prague in 1757 .
His heir was Karl Ludwig von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck , as he was never married and had no descendants.
