The ducal house of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck was a branch line of the Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg branch from the House of Oldenburg . It was founded by Duke August Philipp . The family branch was named after the Gut Haus Beck in Löhne , which belonged to the estate of the first duke. Although the family members received the ducal title and rank, they only had inheritance rights in Schleswig and Holstein and had no sovereign lands. In July 1825 the Beck house was sold to the von Wulfen family .
