Friedrich Wilhelm von Harras
Friedrich Wilhelm von Harras (* around 1640 ; † 1694 ) was a co-owner of the manor Oßmannstedt and in 1680 acquired Großobringen from the von Eberstein family. He had the rank of lieutenant.
Biographical data
Friedrich Wilhelm was probably born as the son of Quirin III around 1640 . Born by Harras on Wallichen .
In the years around 1676 and 1678 he was co-owner of the manor Oßmannstedt near Weimar . On April 2, 1680 Friedrich Wilhelm von Harras acquired Großobringen from Philipp Heinrich and Otto Heinrich von Eberstein. The von Harras owned the manor for three generations. Only after a feudal process in 1778 were they expropriated by the Duke of Saxony-Weimar and Eisenach and the manor was turned into a ducal box.
He died with the rank of lieutenant before 1694 and left two sons: Ernst Friedrich von Harras (* 1676) and Ernst Wilhelm von Harras (* 1678) on Großobringen.
