Friedrich van Calker
Johann Friedrich August van Calker (born July 4, 1790 in Neudietendorf , Duchy of Gotha, † January 5, 1870 in Bonn ) was a German philosopher.
Calker studied in Jena. Jakob Friedrich Fries was his academic teacher. After his habilitation in Berlin, he became an associate professor of philosophy at the University of Bonn in 1818 . In 1826 he became a full professor. In 1847/48 he was the rector of the university.
