Friedrich von Puteani
Friedrich von Puteani , Czech Bedřich Puteani (born January 1, 1849 in Prague , † July 4, 1917 in Munich ) was a Czech painter and etcher, active in Munich and Venice.
His parents were the Imperial and Royal Lieutenant Colonel Friedrich August von Puteani (* August 22, 1811 - March 7, 1865) and his wife Marie Ebenberger (* August 3, 1821 - January 6, 1910).
Puteani studied since October 24, 1870 at the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich with Wilhelm von Diez and Johann Leonhard Raab .
He mainly painted landscape and genre pictures, often with horses.
From 1883 he lived in Venice and returned to Munich around 1914, where he died unmarried on July 4, 1917.
