Friedrich von Seeckt

Friedrich von Seeckt (born October 6, 1793 on the Nepzin manor , Swedish Pomerania , † November 8, 1870 in Greifswald ) was a German judge and parliamentarian.

Life

Friedrich von Seeckt studied law at the University of Greifswald . There he became a member of from 1813 Pomerania founded Sueco-Pomerania, which united with Pomerania 1815 after Swedish Pomerania had become Prussian. After graduation and the doctorate to Dr. jur. he started his career as a judge and became President of the Greifswald Court of Appeal . He was also awarded the title of a real secret senior judicial officer .

From 1852 to 1858 Seeckt sat as a member of the constituency Stralsund 2 in the Prussian House of Representatives , where he belonged to the von Arnim faction.

He was an honorary knight of the Order of St. John since 1840 .
