Friedrich von Vely-Jungkenn

Friedrich Ludwig Conrad von Vely-Jungkenn (born October 5, 1802 , † November 28, 1887 at Hüffe Castle ), was a German manor owner, politician and author.

After the death of Friedrich Christian Arnold von Jungkenn , his niece Frederike von Romberg, a granddaughter of Lieutenant General Martin Eberhard von Jungkenn, inherited . She married the Baron François de Vély. Since Jungkenn's will determined the preservation of the name, the couple adopted the name of Vely-Jungkenn . Friedrich von Vely-Jungkenn was the only child in this marriage and thus inherited Hüffe Castle and the goods belonging to it.

From 1843 to 1845 he was a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Westphalia . In 1847 he was a member of the first and in 1848 of the second United State Parliament .

Von Vely-Jungkenn was a Bavarian chamberlain . He was a knight of the Order of St. John of Malta and a member of several historical societies and author of historical writings.
