Friedrich Ignaz Konstantin von Vittinghoff called Schell (* around 1670, † after 1716) was canon in Paderborn, Münster and Hildesheim.

Life

Origin and family

Friedrich Ignaz von Vittinghoff called Schell came from the Westphalian noble family von Vittinghoff , whose rungs held high offices in church, military and administration. From 1456 until the secularization in 1803 , the barons of Vittinghoff put the hereditary droids in the Essen monastery . Friedrich Ignaz grew up as the son of Arnold Johann von Vittinghoff called Schell and his wife Theodora von Galen zu Assen, daughter of Johann Heinrich von Galen , with his siblings Anna Theodora Helena, Maria Adolphina (canons in Nottuln Abbey ) and Hermann Arnold (1701– 1768, Canon in Hildesheim and Münster).

Act

With the receipt of the tonsure on October 24th, 1700 Friedrich Ignaz was prepared for a spiritual life. On November 13, 1710, with papal approval , he received the cathedral praise , which Franz Bernhard Anton von Vittinghoff called Schell had renounced. 1713 he received from Turnar a Dompräbende in Munster . Two years later he was given an exam in Hildesheim . As early as 1718 he gave up here in favor of his brother Hermann Arnold. From 1711 to 1727 he was a cathedral waiter in Paderborn . The resignation from his office in Münster dated June 5, 1727. Hermann Arnold was again the recipient of the prebende.

Others

On April 16, 1716 Friedrich Ignaz was appointed executor for his uncle Franz Johann . The canon died on December 12, 1716.
