Veit Adam von Pelkoven

Baron Veit Adam von Pelkhoven (* 1649 in Munich ; † March 10, 1701 in Freising ) was canon of Freising.

The date of birth is not saved. In a baptismal certificate from 1675 January 30, 1649 is given, in another source the month March 1649. He was the son of Johan Wolfgang von Pelkhoven (Hochenbuchbacher main line) and his second wife, Euphemia von Lerchenfeld (daughter of Christopher von Lerchenfeld and Jockobea Schenking) and had four other siblings.

In Rome he studied philosophy at the Collegium Germanium and theology , which he completed around 1669 as "Perfectus Studiorum". Back in his fatherland he was enfeoffed with the parish of Wasserburg by the elector Ferdinand Maria . In 1680 he became canon of Freising.
