Frisco is a settlement on community-free area ( unincorporated community ) in Dare County in the eastern part of the US -amerikanischen state of North Carolina . Frisco is on the island of Hatteras between the localities of Buxton and Hatteras . Formerly called Trent or Trent Woods , the place was given the new name Frisco in 1898 as part of the allocation of a zip code .
