Fritz-Dieter Rothacker

Fritz-Dieter Rothacker (born August 26, 1938 in Stuttgart ; † November 8, 2001 ) was a German graphic artist .

Life

Rothacker studied graphic design from 1959 to 1962 at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart . From 1968 to 1978 he ran his own advertising agency in Stuttgart with a focus on capital goods and sales promotion. From 1978 he was professor at the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences , from 1984 to 1987 dean.

He designed the special stamp "200 Years of Sing-Akademie zu Berlin " for the Deutsche Bundespost (1991) and the series "For Sport" for the Deutsche Post in 1999 and 2001 .

Rothacker died in 2001 at the age of 63 and was buried in the cemetery in Stuttgart-Feuerbach.
