Fritz-Henning Karcher

Fritz-Henning Karcher (born November 16, 1911 in Kiel ; † January 27, 2001 in Beckingen ) was a German entrepreneur.

Career

Karcher studied at the University of Königsberg and was awarded a Dr. rer. nat. PhD. He took part in the Second World War as a naval officer.

In 1948 he moved to Saarland and became the managing director of his uncle Bodo Karcher's Karcher screw works in Beckingen . He succeeded in adapting the company when the Saarland was incorporated into the Federal Republic. After the company was sold to the Luxembourg ARBED group, he retired on April 30, 1975. His grave is in the private cemetery of the Karcher family on the Beckinger Reihersberg.
