Fritz Büchner (resistance fighter)
Fritz Büchner (born February 2, 1889 in Erfurt ; † December 5, 1933 there ) was a resistance fighter against National Socialism .
Life
He worked for the company Topf & Sons and became a member of the works council . In 1919 he joined the KPD . Because of his participation in the defensive struggles of the workers in central Germany, he was dismissed from Topf & Sons. He then worked as a driver and also used it for political work. After the seizure of power by the Nazis in 1933, he led a resistance group. He was arrested and interned in the Feldstrasse protective custody camp. He was later murdered on the Petersberg .
