Fritz Boerckel

Fritz Boerckel , full name Friedrich Karl Boerckel , (born November 2, 1898 in Mainz , † March 24, 1980 in Wiesbaden ) was a German lawyer and most recently a judge at the Federal Administrative Court .

Life

Fritz Boerckel, son of the librarian and writer Alfred Boerckel , studied law at the University of Giessen , where he 1923 Dr. jur. received his doctorate. After the war he was senior legal advisor of the city of Mainz, government vice-president in the Rheinhessen administrative district (1947–1950) and senate president of the Mainz chamber of the Neustadt district administrative court . In 1957 he was appointed judge at the Federal Administrative Court. In 1966 he retired. In the same year he was awarded the Great Cross of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany .
