Fritz E. Maeder

Fritz E. Maeder (* 1936 in Bern ; † November 23, 2018 ) was a Swiss cameraman .

Life

Maeder completed training as a photographer and camera assistant . As a cameraman he has made numerous documentaries and feature films since the 1950s . He was Vice President of the Swiss Cinematographer's Society (SCS) and was a visiting professor at the Munich Film School .

The documentary How you and I (1997), for which Maeder also directed, scripted and produced, was nominated for Best Documentary at the Swiss Film Awards 1998.
