Georg Radanowicz

Georg Radanowicz (* 1939 in Aarau ) is a Swiss architect and photographer .

Life

Radanowicz lived in Tehran until 1941 and then grew up in Basel . In 1958 he passed the Matura at the Humanist Gymnasium in Basel . From 1958 to 1960 he attended the photography class at the Zurich School of Applied Arts . From 1961 to 1966 he studied architecture at the ETH Zurich and graduated with a diploma. From 1966 to 1967 he worked in Klaus Zaugg's photo studio in Milan . From 1968 he lived in Zurich and traveled to Yugoslavia , Egypt , the United States , the Soviet Union and Poland . In 1971 he founded Nemo Film GmbH together with others . From 1971 to 1977 he was President of the Association of Swiss Film Designers . In 1978 he became Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nemo Film AG .

Radanowicz made semi-experimental short films ( Mottensack 1967; Pic-nic , 1967) and then turned to commercial short films. He edited, scripted, directed and produced various cinematic products. He was also a guest presenter of the program Zischtigsclub . With Walter Zschokke , Michael Hanak and Doris Fanconi , he realized the book Postwar Modern Switzerland in 2001 .
