Fritz Henkel (politician)

Fritz Henkel (born July 26, 1885 in Gläsendorf , Grottkau district ; † March 9, 1932 ) was a German farmer and politician ( center ).

Life

Henkel attended Catholic elementary school. He was the owner of a 25- hectare farm in Gläsendorf, which he managed as an independent farmer from 1911. From 1914 to 1918 he took part in the First World War as a soldier . He was a member of the Upper Evaluation Chamber in the Grottkau district and a member of various tax commissions for imperial and state taxes.

Henkel was deputy head of the office in Gläsendorf and a member of the district council in the Grottkau district. On February 2, 1927, he succeeded the late MP Hermann Goebel in the Prussian state parliament . In May 1928 he was elected to the Landtag via constituency 9 (Opole), to which he belonged until his death.
