Fritz Kutz (born April 15, 1933 ) is a former German football player who played ten games in the GDR Oberliga , the top division of GDR football , for SC Chemie Halle from 1959 to 1961 .

Athletic career

Until 1959 Fritz Kutz played in the company sports community (BSG) Motor Ammendorf , most recently in the fourth-class Halle district league . In 1958, the football focus of the region SC Chemie Halle was relegated from the league and entered the 1959 season (calendar year game operation) with a newly formed team in the second-rate GDR league . The new players also included the 26-year-old Kutz, who was only called up in the second half of the season and was used as a midfielder in seven point games. The SC Chemie returned to the league after a year. Although Kutz was nominated for the major league squad in 1960, he did not get beyond the role of the substitute player. He was only used in five point games in the first half of the season, where he was only once in the starting line-up as a midfielder. In 1961 GDR football was changed to the summer-spring game rhythm. In addition, a 39-game series was held in the major league until 1962. Kutz was reported again for the top division squad, but played only five point games in the first third of the season, in which he played twice from the start. In 1962 he returned to Motor Ammendorf without being active again in higher-class football.
