Fritz Raeck

Fritz Raeck , also Friedrich Raeck (born March 25, 1894 in Stargard , † December 24, 1968 in Coburg ) was a German school teacher and writer . He published, among other things, youth stage plays and compiled the anthology Pommersche Literatur .

Live and act

Raeck was a school teacher and worked as headmaster in Garzigar , Kallies and Lauenburg i. Pom. Later he was a school councilor in Gnesen , after the Second World War he was in Bielefeld and Halle (Westphalia) . His last position was a department head in the school department of the Arnsberg district government .

Raeck published several youth stage plays, as well as some poems and stories. On the literature of his homeland Pomerania he published the volume Pommersche Heimat (1963) and put together the anthology Pommersche Literatur , which was completed for printing by Rüdiger Bliss after his death and appeared in 1969.
