Carlotta Nwajide (born July 12, 1995 in Hanover ) is a German rower who started for the German Rowing Club from 1884 .

Nwajide started rowing in 2005 at the rowing club of the Humboldt School in Hanover . At the Junior World Championships in 2012 , she and Julia Leiding took third place in the double scull . In 2013 she started with Michaela Staelberg, but had to withdraw after the preliminary run due to illness. 2014 she rowed with Staelberg, Frauke Hundeling and Carina Boehlert in the quadruple sculls to fourth place at the U23 World Championships . In 2015 she finished sixth in the double scull with Frauke Hundeling. In 2016 she won the bronze medal in the single .

In 2017, Nwajide and Julia Leiding took part in a double scull at the European Championships , the two finished fourth. At the world championships , the two came in tenth place. In 2018 Nwajide started the season with a second place at the German Small Boat Championships . At the World Cup in Belgrade, Nwajide started in a double scull with Franziska Kampmann and took second place. At the World Cup in Linz, the German quadruple with Marie-Cathérine Arnold , Carlotta Nwajide, Franziska Kampmann and Frieda Hämmerling won ahead of the Chinese, at the World Cup in Lucerne the German double quad won ahead of the Poles. At the World Championships in Plovdiv , the German crew won the silver medal behind the Polish women. In 2019 Nwajide competed at the European Championships in Lucerne together with Leonie Menzel in a double scull and won the title in front of the Romanians. After the third World Cup race in July, she had to end her season prematurely because of a thrombosis .
