European Rowing Championships 2019
The European Rowing Championships 2019 were held from May 31 to June 2, 2019 in Lucerne on the Rotsee in 18 different competition classes over the Olympic competition distance of 2000 meters. All finals took place on June 2nd.
One team per competition class from the 46 European member associations of the World Rowing Federation (FISA) was eligible to participate . A qualification regatta did not exist.
After 1908, 1926, 1934 and 1947, the European Rowing Championship took place for the fifth time in Lucerne, with rowing on Lake Lucerne until 1926 and on the Rotsee since 1934. The rowing world championships have meanwhile been held four times in Lucerne, and the Rotsee was also the scene of numerous regattas of the rowing world cup .
Results
The medal winners from the A finals are listed here. These were manned with six boats, which had to qualify for the finals via pre-run and hope runs as well as semi-finals. The length of the course was 2000 meters in all races.
