Joanna Dittmann (born February 9, 1992 ) is a Polish rower .

Athletic career

Joanna Dittmann started rowing in 2005. In 2010 she finished twelfth in the quadruple sculls at the Junior World Championships . In 2011 she rowed to sixth place in the double foursome at the U23 World Championships , two years later she finished sixth in the foursome without a helmsman . In 2014 she won the first international medal in the adult class when she won bronze in the quadruple scull with Agnieszka Kobus , Maria Springwald and Monika Ciaciuch at the European Championships . In the same year she finished sixth at the U23 World Championships with the Polish eighth .

After two years without participating in the international championship, she rowed at the European championships in 2017 in a four-man without a helmsman and together with Monika Ciaciuch, Anna Wierzbowska and Maria Wierzbowska took second place behind the Romanians, although the competition as a demonstration competition was not yet part of the official championship program. At the 2017 World Championships , the uncontrolled foursome was the official competition, with Olga Michałkiewicz , Joanna Dittmann, Monika Ciaciuch and Maria Wierzbowska, the Polish foursome won silver behind the Australians. In 2018 the foursome was a regular part of the program at the European Championships . Monika Chabel , Maria Wierzbowska, Olga Michałkiewicz and Joanna Dittmann won the bronze medal behind the Romanians and the Russians. At the 2018 World Championships , the Polish four-man finished fifth. In the following year, the four-man competed at the European Championships in Lucerne with the same line-up and won bronze behind the boats from the Netherlands and Romania.
