Rowing World Championships 2018
The 2018 World Rowing Championships took place on September 9-16, 2018 on the Plovdiv Rowing Canal in Bulgaria .
At the championships, 29 competitions were held, ten each for men and women and nine for parroowers of both sexes. Compared to the world championships held in previous years, the program has been revised to a greater extent, so that the same number of competitions were held for men and women for the first time. The changes have been made as part of the restructuring of the Olympic rowing competitions from 2020.
One team per competition class from all member associations of the World Rowing Association was eligible to participate . A qualification regatta did not exist.
