Molly Bruggeman

Molly Bruggeman (born June 19, 1992 in Dayton , Ohio ) is an American rower .

Molly Bruggeman started rowing in 2007. In 2012 she finished sixth with the four without a helmsman at the U23 World Championships , in 2013 she was sixth with the double four . At the U23 World Championships in 2014, Bruggeman rowed both in the four without a helmsman and in the eight and won the title in both boat classes. In 2015 she won the Pan American Games in Toronto with Emily Huelskamp in a two-man without helmsman .

In 2016, she competed in the world championships in the non-Olympic boat classes with Kristine O'Brien , Emily Huelskamp and Corinne Schoeller in a four without helmsman and won silver behind the British women. At the 2017 World Championships , Bruggeman, O'Brien, Erin Reelick and Kendall Chase finished fourth. In 2018, two new rowers joined the US foursome. In the line-up of Madeleine Wanamaker , Erin Boxberger , Molly Bruggeman and Erin Reelick, the boat won the title at the World Championships in Plovdiv ahead of the Australians and Russians.
