Robyn Selby Smith

Robyn Selby Smith (born November 26, 1980 in Melbourne ) is a former Australian rower . She won three world titles.

Athletic career

Robyn Selby Smith finished eighth at the 2004 World Championships with the Australian four-man without a helmsman . In the following year she started in two boat classes at the World Championships in Gifu and won two titles, the one in the four without a helmsman and the one in the eight . At the 2006 World Championships in Eton, she also competed in two boat classes: She again won the title in the four and received the bronze medal with the eight. In 2007 Hornsey started at the World Championships in Munich only in eighth, with which she finished fourth. After her non-nomination for the 2008 Olympic Games, Robyn Selby Smith resigned from high-performance sports. In 2012 she returned again and qualified with the Australian eighth for the Olympic Games in London , where she finished sixth with eighth.

1.77 m tall Robyn Selby Smith rowed for Melbourne's Mercantile Rowing Club .
