Nicole Zimmermann

Nicole Zimmermann (born May 11, 1980 in Rostock ) is a German oar oar .

Zimmermann starts for the Rostock rowing club from 1885 . She was Junior World Champion in 1997 and 1998 with the eighth . In the next few years she won medals in the U23 class in the four without a helmsman . In 2002 she rose to the German women's eight and won her first medal in the adult class with bronze. In 2003 the German eighth won the title at the World Championships in Milan. A year later, the eighth finished only fifth at the Olympic Games . In 2006 Zimmermann and Elke Hipler competed in a two-man without a helmsman in addition to the eighth . At the World Championships in Eton, the two won bronze in two and silver with eight. In 2007, Hipler and Zimmermann even won silver in two at the world championship in Munich, but only finished fifth with eighth.
