Maja Tucholke

Maja Tucholke (born February 11, 1979 in Leipzig ) is a former German rower who was eighth world champion in 2003 .

Maja Tucholke from the Triton rowing club in Leipzig was the 1997 junior world champion in eighth. In 1999, 2002 and 2003 she won the German championship title in eighth. In 2001 she was successful in twos with Sandra Goldbach without a tax woman .

At the World Rowing Championships in 2001 behind Australia and Romania and in 2002 behind the USA and Australia, Tucholke won the bronze medal with the German women's eight . In 2003 in Milan , the German eighth won ahead of the boats from Romania and Canada. In the following year, the German eighth finished fifth with Maja Tucholke at the Olympic Games in Athens .
