Laura Oprea (born February 19, 1994 in Nisiporeşti , Neamț County ) is a Romanian rower .

Laura Oprea won at the Junior World Championships in 2010 the silver medal in the one at the Junior World Championships 2011 bronze in the quadruple sculls and at the Junior World Championships 2012 Bronze in One. In 2013 she won together with Ionela-Mădălina Rusu in a double scull at the U23 World Championships .

In 2014, the 1.87 m tall Laura Oprea won her first international medal in the adult class when she and Cristina Grigoraș won the silver medal at the European Championships in a two-man team without a helmsman . At the 2014 World Championships , the two finished fourth both in the two without a helmsman and with the Romanian eighth . In 2015, Grigoraș and Oprea won the bronze medal in two at the European Championships , and at the 2015 World Championships , the two took seventh place. In 2016 Laura Oprea and Mădălina Bereș won the bronze medal at the European Championships in Brandenburg an der Havel in an uncontrolled two-man game .
