Tessa Gobbo

Tessa Gobbo (born December 8, 1990 in Keene , New Hampshire ) is an American rower and 2016 Olympic champion in eighth .

Gobbo started rowing in high school in 2006, but didn't join the US national team until 2013. At the 2013 World Championships in Chungju , the four-man without helmsman won the title with Emily Huelskamp , Olivia Coffey , Tessa Gobbo and Felice Mueller . In 2014 Tessa Gobbo competed in the Rowing World Cup in double fours , at the World Championships in Amsterdam she rowed again in the four without, which with Zsuzsanna Francia , Emily Regan , Tessa Gobbo and Adrienne Martelli won the silver medal behind the New Zealand four.
