Nienke Kingma (born February 12, 1982 in Driebergen ) is a former Dutch rower who was second in the 2008 Olympics and third in the eighth in 2012 .

Nienke Kingma from Nereus Amsterdam started rowing in 2000. At the 2006 World Championships , she finished fifth in the four without a helmsman . In 2008 she moved up to the Dutch eighth at the Olympic Games in Beijing with Femke Dekker , Annemiek de Haan , Nienke Kingma, Roline Repelaer van Driel , Annemarieke van Rumpt , Sarah Siegelaar , Marlies Smulders , Helen Tanger and taxwoman Ester Workel reached second place behind the eighth from the United States. At the 2009 World Championships , the Americans won again, behind the Romanians the Dutch took third place. In addition, Chantal Achterberg , Nienke Kingma, Carline Bouw and Femke Dekker, all of whom also started in eighth, also won the non-Olympic boat class four without helmsman at the 2009 and 2010 World Championships .
