Madeleine Wanamaker

Madeleine Wanamaker (born February 14, 1995 in Neenah , Wisconsin ) is a rower from the United States.

Madeleine Wanamaker began rowing in 2013 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison . In 2016 she finished eleventh with the double foursome at the U23 World Championships , and at the U23 World Championships in 2017 she finished second with eighth .

In 2018, she finished fourth in the World Cup regatta in Lucerne with the four-man without a helmsman . In the line-up of Madeleine Wanamaker, Erin Boxberger , Molly Bruggeman and Erin Reelick , the boat won the title at the World Championships in Plovdiv ahead of the Australians and Russians. In 2019 a World Cup regatta took place in Plovdiv. Wanamaker started together with Erin Reelick in a two without a helmsman and together with Reelick, Emily Huelskamp and Olivia Coffey in a foursome without a helmswoman and finished fifth in both boat classes, although she was not in the best-placed boat from the United States. At the World Championships in Linz she competed in a foursome with Molly Bruggeman, Victoria Opitz and Caryn Davies . The US rowers reached the final and finished sixth.
