Sara Hendershot
Sara Hendershot (born April 27, 1988 in West Simsbury , Connecticut ) is a former rower from the United States .
Sara Hendershot won the 2010 U23 World Championships in a foursome without a helmsman . The following year she competed in the same boat class at the World Championships in Bled . Sarah Zelenka , Kara Kohler , Emily Regan and Sara Hendershot won just under a second ahead of the Australians. At the 2012 Olympic Games in London, Zelenka and Hendershot competed in pairs without a helmsman . The two Americans took fourth place, 0.2 seconds behind the third-placed New Zealanders. Sara Hendershot entered 2013 Rowing World Cup once in the eighth and finished second in Sydney in second place. After that, her international career ended.
