Roline Virginie Repelaer van Driel (born July 28, 1984 in Amsterdam ) is a former Dutch rower who won two Olympic medals in eighth .

Athletic career

Roline Repelaer van Driel from the Utrecht rowing club Triton began rowing in 2003. In 2005 she took part in the U23 World Championships and finished ninth in the two-man category without a helmsman . In 2006, she reached the A-final in the four-man category without a helmsman at the World Championships in the adult class , where she finished fifth. From 2007 she belonged to the Dutch eighth, who won the B-final at the 2007 World Championships and thus reached seventh place in the overall standings. In 2008 the eighth went to the A-final at the Olympic Games and won the silver medal behind the US boat with three hundredths of a second ahead of the Romanian boat.
