Dana Moffat

Dana Moffat (born April 30, 1997 in Palo Alto ) is an American rower .

Athletic career

Dana Moffat started rowing in 2012. In 2014 she won the silver medal in the four-man category at the Junior World Championships with Mia Croonqvist, Dana Moffat, Claire Collins and Marlee Blue. Together with Marlee Blue, she competed at the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing in the same year and took fourth place in the two without helmsman . In 2015, the four-man without helmsman from the United States won the Junior World Championships with Katy Gillingham, Marlee Blue, Dana Moffat and Kaitlyn Kynast . In 2017 Moffat rowed eighth at the U23 World Championships , the boat won the silver medal behind the Canadians.

In 2018 Dana Moffat moved into the American eighth and won the title at the World Rowing Championships in Plovdiv in front of the boats from Canada and Australia. A year later at the 2019 World Rowing Championships in Linz / Ottensheim, the New Zealanders won ahead of the Australians, the eighth from the United States won bronze.

Dana Moffat graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Economics in 2019 .
