Heidi Robbins

Heidi Robbins (born July 3, 1991 in Seattle ) is an American rower , she was the hitter of the world championship eight in 2014 and 2015.

Robbins began rowing at Princeton University in 2009 . In 2013 she graduated in ecology and evolutionary biology. She lives and trains in Princeton , New Jersey.

In 2011 she won the bronze medal at the U23 World Championships with the US eight , in 2012 she won the title. She made her international debut in the adult class in the US eighth with a win at the 2013 Rowing World Cup in Lucerne. In 2014 she competed in the World Cup in double fours , at the 2014 World Championships in Amsterdam she won with the US eight ahead of Canada and China. In the following year on the Lac d'Aiguebelette, the eighth continued his series of victories at World Championships and Olympic Games, which had been going on since 2006, and won the title in front of the boats from New Zealand and Canada.
