Brett Sickler

Brett Sickler (born March 19, 1983 in Cupertino ) is a former rower from the United States . She won two world titles in eighth .

Brett Sickler began rowing in 1996. She attended high school in Los Gatos , and later she attended the University of Michigan . In 2001 she competed in two boat classes at the Junior World Championships in Duisburg. With the four without a helmsman she won silver and with the eight she finished fifth. In 2005, Sickler competed at the U23 World Championships together with Deborah Dryer in a double scull and took third place. In 2006 she competed in the Rowing World Cup twice with Zsuzsanna Francia in double sculls, but did not reach an A final. At the World Championships in Eton , the two finished 12th. Both also competed in eighth and won the world championship with a one and a half second lead over the Germans. Brett Sickler was also in the American eighth place in 2007, and at the World Championships in Munich the crew won by one second over the Romanians. In 2008 and 2009, Brett Sickler competed once in the World Cup, but was no longer present at the season highlight.
