Shannon Crawford
Shannon Crawford (born September 12, 1963 in Guelph ) is a former Canadian rower .
Crawford only started rowing at the Argonaut Rowing Club in Toronto when he was 23 . At the Pan American Games in 1991 she won the four-man without a taxwoman and won the silver medal in the two-man without a taxwoman . In 1992 she competed with the Canadian eighth at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona , which won the gold medal two seconds ahead of the Romanian boat. At the World Championships held in the Czech Republic in 1993 , she rowed with Julie Jespersen Platt , Kelly Mahon and Emma Robinson in a four without a helmsman to third place behind the boats from China and the USA.
