Milda Valčiukaitė (born May 24, 1994 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian rower .

Athletic career

The 1.75 m tall Milda Valčiukaitė took seventh place in the single at the 2010 Junior World Championships , at the 2011 Junior World Championships she won with Ieva Adomaviciutė in a double scull . The two Lithuanians won the Junior World Championships in 2012 and finished fourth in the U23 World Championships .

Milda Valčiukaitė has been rowing double sculls with Donata Vištartaitė since 2013 , and in their first season together, the two won both the European and World Championships . In 2014, the two finished second in the World Cup three times, and in fourth place they missed the medal ranks at the World Championships . Milda Valčiukaitė also competed in the U23 World Championships in 2014 and won the single title. The 2015 rowing season began for Valčiukaitė and Vištartaitė with a silver medal at the European Championships . At the beginning of July, he won the Universiade . At the world championships they reached fifth place. In 2016, the two Lithuanians won their preliminary run at the 2016 Olympic Games , took second place in the semifinals and won the bronze medal in the final. It was the third Olympic medal in rowing for Lithuania . In 2017, Valčiukaitė finished fourth at the World Championships with Ieva Adomavičiūtė . In 2018 the two won the bronze medal at the European Championships in Glasgow , a month and a half later they won the World Championships in Plovdiv .

From 2014 to 2017 she was part of Lithuania's women's team of the year four times in a row .
