Brooke Pratley

Brooke Pratley (born April 6, 1980 in Goulburn ) is a former Australian rower who won an Olympic silver medal in 2012.

Pratley began rowing in 2003 and competed in the rowing World Cup for the first time in 2006 , at the 2006 World Championships she won in double sculls with Liz Kell . The following year, the 1.91 m tall rower started in the quadruple scull and finished seventh at the World Championships in Munich . At the 2008 Olympic Regatta in Beijing, Brooke Pratley sat in the Australian eighth , which finished sixth.

After a year break, Pratley rowed the double scull at the 2010 World Championships to fourth place, a year later at the 2011 World Championships in Bled , the Australian double scull took fourth place again. In 2012 Pratley switched to Kim Crow in the Australian double scull, both at the World Cup in Munich and at the Olympiaregatta in Eton , Crow and Pratley took second place behind the British Katherine Grainger and Anna Watkins .
