Frieda Hämmerling (born January 20, 1997 in Kiel ) is a German rower .

At the 2014 Junior World Championships, Hämmerling together with Annemieke Schanze, Anne-Kathin Eichler and Lena Seuffert took second place in the four-four behind the Chinese boat. At the Junior World Championships in 2015 , Schanze and Hämmerling won the junior title in double sculls . In 2016, Hämmerling and Julia Leiding took fifth place in a double scull at the U23 World Championships .

In 2017, at the European Championships in Račice u Štětí, the newly composed double foursome with Daniela Schultze , Charlotte Reinhardt , Frauke Hundeling and Frieda Hämmerling won ahead of the Dutch and the British. At the World Championships in Sarasota , the German double scull reached fourth place. In 2018, the German double four started the season at the World Cup in Belgrade with Michaela Staelberg , Constanze Duell , Frauke Hundeling and Frieda Hämmerling and finished third behind the boats from the Netherlands and Poland. At the World Cup in Linz, the German quadruple with Marie-Cathérine Arnold , Carlotta Nwajide , Franziska Kampmann and Frieda Hämmerling won ahead of the Chinese, at the World Cup in Lucerne the German double quad won ahead of the Poles. At the World Championships in Plovdiv , the German crew won the silver medal behind the Polish women and ahead of the Dutch women. In 2019, Hämmerling became German champion at the small boat championships in Cologne. The German double scull competed at the 2019 European Championships in Lucerne as Michaela Staelberg, Julia Lier , Franziska Kampmann and Frieda Hämmerling, this team won the title ahead of the Dutch women . At the World Championships in Linz , the German double scull competed in the line-up of Daniela Schultze, Michaela Staelberg, Franziska Kampmann and Frieda Hämmerling. They took 4th place behind China, Poland and the Netherlands.
