Daniela Schultze (born November 3, 1990 in Cottbus ) is a German rower .

Schultze began rowing in 1999. In 2011 she won the title at the U23 World Championships in Amsterdam in a double scull with Mareike Adams from Essen . In the winter of 2011/12 she switched from scull to oar rowing . In May 2012, Schultze qualified in Lucerne with the German women's figure eight for the Olympic Games in London .

After finishing seventh at the Olympic Games, Schultze did not return to international competition until 2015. With eighth, she finished tenth at the 2015 World Rowing Championships and fifth at the 2016 European Rowing Championships . In 2017 she switched to double fours . Together with Charlotte Reinhardt , Frauke Hundeling and Frieda Hämmerling , she won the title at the European Rowing Championships in 2017 . At the World Championships in Linz , the German double scull competed in the line-up of Daniela Schultze, Michaela Staelberg , Franziska Kampmann and Frieda Hämmerling. They took 4th place behind China, Poland and the Netherlands.

Until 2011, Schultze rowed for the Potsdamer Ruder-Gesellschaft for five years , and the athlete trained by Steffen Becker has been a member of the newly founded Potsdamer Ruder-Club since 2012 . Since September 2013 she has been training to become a law enforcement officer with the Federal Police. The police chief candidate is a member of the Federal Police Sports School Kienbaum , the top-level sports support facility of the Federal Police for summer and year-round sports.
