Christiane Huth (* 12. September 1980 in Suhl ) is a German Skull -Ruderin who won the 2008 silver medal at the Olympics.

Christiane Huth starts for the Potsdam Rowing Society and trains with Jutta Lau . She won world titles as a junior and among the under 23-year-olds. In 2002 she first appeared in the adult class at the World Championships and took fifth place in the double scull . At the World Championships in 2003 and at the Olympic Games in 2004 , she was only nominated as a substitute rower. In 2005 she took fourth place in the double scull.

The German double scull with Stephanie Schiller , Jeannine Hennicke , Magdalena Schmude and Christiane Huth also took fourth place at the 2006 World Rowing Championships in Eton. At the beginning of 2007 the Russian winning team was stripped of the gold medal because of a doping offense committed by Olga Samulenkova , the British boat was declared the winner, the Australians moved up to second place and the Germans subsequently came third. At the 2008 Olympic Games Christiane Huth competed in double sculls with Annekatrin Thiele . After a photo finish in Beijing, the two lost to New Zealand defending champions Georgina and Caroline Evers-Swindell by a hundredth of a second .
