Daniela Molle

Daniela Molle (born July 4, 1971 ) is a former German rower . Her greatest achievement was the silver medal in the quadruple scull at the 1993 World Championships.

Athletic career

Daniela Molle began her career in 1982 at Motor Wolgast , from 1990 onwards the Wolgast rowing club . She then moved to Hamburg, where she competed for RG Hansa and RV Wandsbek .

In 1991 she finished second with the double foursome in the Match des Seniors , a forerunner of the U23 World Championships . The following year, after the competition was renamed, she won the Nations Cup in one .

In 1993 Molle won together with Kerstin Müller , Kristina Mundt and Angela Schuster at the German championships in quadruples. In this line-up, the rowers took second place behind the Chinese women at the 1993 World Championships . In 1994 Molle competed in the single rowing World Cup , but could not qualify for an A final. At German championships in 1995 and 1996 Molle was second in the single behind Kathrin Boron , in 1997 Molle won the championship title. In 1997 she won the World Cup in Paris together with Christiane Will in a double scull . Molle was a substitute rower at the 1997 World Championships , with Kathrin Boron and Meike Evers winning the final . In 1998 in a double scull and in 2007 in a single, Molle competed again in the World Cup, but was no longer present at international championships.
