Stephanie Schiller

Stephanie Schiller (born July 25, 1986 in Potsdam ) is a former German rowing athlete .

In 2005, she reached at the World Rowing Championships in Gifu, Nagoya (Japan) to second place in the quadruple sculls , a year later she won with Jeannine Hennicke , Magdalena Schmude and Christiane Huth fourth place in this boat class. Again in double fours, she won silver at the 2007 World Rowing Championships in Munich together with Britta Oppelt , Manuela Lutze and Kathrin Boron and the bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Beijing .

For this she was awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf by Federal President Köhler .

With a new double scull she won the bronze medal at the 2009 World Rowing Championships , and in 2010 she became European champion in double sculls with Annekatrin Thiele . In 2011 she won the 2011 World Rowing Championships together with Julia Richter , Tina Manker and Britta Oppelt in the quad sculls. At the 2012 Olympic Games , she and Tina Manker finished ninth in the double scull.

Schiller is a business administration student and starts working for RG in Potsdam .
