Career

As a junior he played for the Estevan Bruins in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League . In the 1966 NHL Amateur Draft , he was selected by the Boston Bruins as the first player in the draft.

From the 1967/68 season he was in the squad of the Bruins. After five and a half years in Minnesota, in which he was once in the final series of the Stanley Cup with the North Stars , he moved to the Atlanta Flames in January 1975 in exchange for Dwight Bialowas and Dean Talafous . From December 1977 he played for the St. Louis Blues , where he was also team captain . In the 1979/80 season he wore the jersey of the Los Angeles Kings before ending his career after another year in the CHL.
