The Oklahoma City Stars were an American ice hockey franchise of the Central Hockey League from Oklahoma City , Oklahoma .

history

The owners of the Oklahoma City Blazers from the Central Hockey League sold the team in 1978, which then became the farm team of the Minnesota North Stars from the National Hockey League , which renamed the team Oklahoma City Stars. In the four seasons of its existence, the team did not get beyond the first play-off round in the following two seasons after missing the playoffs for the Adams Cup twice . In the 1981/82 season , the Oklahoma City Stars were the farm team of the NHL team Calgary Flames . The team then stopped playing.
